Community work

We care about supporting the local community

We’re passionate about giving back to the local community wherever possible.

Our chosen charity is Leeds Children’s Charity, which has been raising funds for more than 100 years for children who suffer from poverty, neglect, abuse, learning difficulties, illness, or are themselves young carers.

The charity brightens these children’s lives by giving them the chance to visit the seaside, make friends and simply have fun. Each year, it sends 350 children, aged between seven to 11, to its holiday centre in Silverdale, an ‘area of outstanding natural beauty’ on the border of Lancashire and Cumbria.

Another local cause that is close to our heart is Garforth Rangers Academy, a local football club that we are extremely proud to sponsor.

The club was formed in 1996 to give local children, who were unable to join other local teams, a chance to play football within a family environment.

It has grown considerably over the years and was awarded the Football Association’s Charter Standard Development Club status in 2002. In 2008, it became an FA Charter Standard Community Club, catering for boys and girls from age six to open age.
